The 'T' is Silent

As you can imagine I’ve heard a variety of pronunciations for my last name, the most common one being ma-T-lin-ski. Every once in awhile a maat-lin-ski slips in. But as of late there has been a rash of mole-lin-ski’s, which I’ve never heard in my 20-some odd years. Here’s the correct pronunciation, or at least this is how I say it:

Drew sent me this great Googled fact: Fort Motylinski in the Sahara (near the bottom of the page). It’s better than meaning “butterfly”, which is the other translation I’ve heard of.

Who needs kids when you have a pack of dogs. Meet the newest addition to the Motylinski clan, Anabelle, Drew and Michelle’s new puppy. That brings the family dog total to 5, the same number as there are people.
