I would just like to say that I’m glad Ashlee Simpson was exposed for being the imposter that she is. That’s what she gets for concentrating on being famous instead of making good music.

There’s nothing like getting to work and realizing I left my wallet at home, then discovering my cellphone battery is dead. What a feeling of helplessness it instills.
Is it ironic that 4 hours after I ranted in Removing Words from the Dictionary the power in my house died, killing my web server?
*Puts tin foil hat on*
The following words should be removed from the dictionary and our daily vocabulary effective immmediately:
bomb
death
threat
kill
die
Over the last couple of days I have heard 3 stories of kids being criminally charged in school for writing dark poems about killing and death, planes being diverted because someone heard someone else on the phone say bomb. Drastic measures are taken all in the name of Homeland Security.
I’m tired of feeling vulnderable and frieghtened. The bad guys have won. Our government is quickly stripping us of our rights guaranteed by the Constitution (Except for that 2nd amendment. We’ll need that one to fight the terrorists). And all in the name of safety. Right.
Right?
Is that why we’re in Iraq too? Safety? Homeland Security?
How about teaching our children not to hate. We should be treating those children who are depressed. Those kids aren’t the real terrorists. Go fight the good fight somewhere else. Stop making us all feel like we’re the terrorists.
Google released a desktop search tool earlier this week. The tool searches files, emails, and instant messaging logs to create your own personal Google cache of your hard drive. I installed it at work and have been randomly looking up some words. Here are some of my results:
Butt : - 9 emails, 10 files
Ass : - 33 emails, 1 file
Dork : - 2 emails
Nerd : - 7 emails
Shit : - 13 emails
Dammit : - 9 emails, 1 file
Jason : - 9,349 emails, 21 files, 3 web history
Motylinski : - 8,711 emails, 15 files
Jason Sucks - 21 emails
I’ll have to run the suite of searches on my home computer too.
Edit:
Per suggestion:
Poop : - 4 emails
Shots of the only changing tree on my block. Conveniently located in my front yard.
I watched and cheered my brother on this weekend as he ran the Twin Cities marathon. I caught him, with the rest of my family, around the half way mark at Lake Nokomis in southern Minneapolis. It was really inspiring to watch him run this race, something that he had never done before and trained so hard for. I waited with baited breath for 2 hours to watch him go flying by in a blink of an eye. Just as he approached Michelle, his wife, he huffed out the words, “I love you,” grabbed his water bottle and flew out of sight. It was one of those moments when the sun shined a bit brighter.
The pictures I took of the race can be found here. Most of them are of dogs because, well, I didn’t really see many people I knew running the race. I managed to get the moment Drew swung by Michelle.
